My quilting friend, Bev, gave me my first lesson on her long arm quilting machine named, Miss Thang!

I was able to celebrate my sis' (cough)th birthday!
I made her this table runner out of drapery fabric remnants using
this "10 Minute Table Runner" tutorial.
Celebrated Father's Day with my dad and family!
Watched my quilting friend Ann, of Attic Threads put the last few quilting
stitches in "Golden Rings."

ReplyDeleteHow did you land such a fun gig as a pageant judge? I LOVE the quilting on the Golden Rings quilt! Looking forward to seeing what all those squares turn into. I too love traditional, antique, and modern quilts. It's the variety that keeps things interesting, and we can learn from all of them.

So glad I got the chance to see you in fancy black tie - "You clean up good," as they say in my hometown :*) That must have been such fun judging the beauty pageant! I can't wait to see more pics of the Golden Rings quilt - love it!!! And thanks for the mini-quilt show. Those are some wonderful quilts!!!
