I truly hope your work week was much better than mine!
All of the weather, Boeing directives for SWA, and general disrespect by passengers made the beginning of my week.........delightfully fun.............NOT!!!!!!!
However, I am thankful to have a job.
That being said, the news I received yesterday MORE than made up for the start of the week!
"Radar" is AQS Paducah bound!!!!!!
Ann and I are so very excited to see him at the show in Paducah! How many of you are planning to go to Paducah as well? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE........if you see me (it's a little hard to miss a big guy like me LOL) come introduce yourself! I would LOVE to meet and chat with you!
I am off to see my family for the weekend.
My beautiful "Lil' Sugardoll" that used to call me "Untle Tevin".......
(By the way.....some of my flight attendant friends still call me this
because I talked about her calling me this all of the time. LOL)
Is turning 17 years old today!
Happy Birthday Sugardoll!!!!!
Where did the time go??????
Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend!
Thanks for all of the encouragement!
Kevin the Quilter
The quilt is gorgeous Untle Tevin
ReplyDeleteShe is a sweetie and a cutie! Congrats on Radar, Untle Tevin!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Sorry for the not so nice work week. Those are not fun. At least you now have 2 great things to think about besides work. Happy Birthday Sweetie!
ReplyDeleteRadar. Congratulations. I may go to Paducah this year. Who knows? I haven't been in a couple of years and I'm starting to get the itch. Whenever I hear "radar" I think of that little guy in MASH. You are too young to remember, no doubt!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can say I knew you when! I am so PROUD of you!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting into the Paducah show. I remember how great that felt back in 1992. I'm sure there will be a crowd around your quilt.
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't wait to see it. Wasn't sure if I would go to Paducah this year, but now I'll have to go! I had a quilt accepted in the guild challenge when AQS was at Opryland in Nashville. Even though it was one of ten quilts from our guild, and even though our guild didn't win anything, I still felt like a winner! I was there when the show opened and was just as nervouse as if I'd taken Best in Show. That Exhibitor ribbon on your badge means a lot!!! BTW, that's the quilt in my Avatar.
ReplyDeleteWOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Love your quilt and the quilting on it! Can't go to Paducah but please get pictures of you with your quilt! So sorry for the idiots at the beginning of your week...people need to remember that you aren't their slave in the air! Your job is to keep the flying public safe...the twits!!! Here's to a better March!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the Paducah show!! I can't wait to see it hanging, live and in person! Thanks for keeping your chin up, despite the weather, cancellations, and rude passengers. Prayerfully, the worst of the cold weather is coming to an end, and sunny skies ahead! Have a fantastic weekend!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on sending your quilt to Paducah! Someday I'd like to go to that show. Its nice that you have a hobby like quilting to help balance those bad work weeks!
ReplyDeleteThat's a HUGE honor. Congrats! What a beautiful quilt, too! Congrats to your 17 yr old niece!

ReplyDeleteI can only imagine the week you had with the weather the way it was. Hopefully you missed out on all the fun with Dallas being out of commission over the weekend.
