I realize I am missing some categories, but, I have to be honest, I was completely overwhelmed by the quality and beauty of the quilts in the show. I did get the majority of the winners for you all to see though. And, just so everyone knows, there was no signage about no photos being taken. I don't want to break the law, or step on any one's toes! LOL I hope you enjoyed the photos, and I can't wait to share with you some projects I have been working on. Stay tuned for those next time!
As always,
Thanks for all of the encouragement!
Kevin the Quilter
Thanks for all your hard work and lovely photos! Beautiful, beautiful quilts - quite impossible to choose a favourite.
ReplyDeleteWow! I can totally get the overwhelmed part!
ReplyDeleteI agree! It's hard to pick a favorite. They're all beautiful! Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm surprised at the international entries, too. Can't wait to see what you're working on!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks. I do enjoy armchair quilt shows.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! So much eye candy!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! They are all exquisite but for some reason I really like "more than a memory" the picture made me want to get in close and see the textures!
ReplyDeleteKevin,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these photos. It is amazing at the talent. You have a great eye when taking these pictures too! (pat yourself on the back for me) :-)
Can't wait to see your next adventures. God Bless!
Your photo's are wonderful and I enable us to share the beauty and quality of the quilts on display
ReplyDeleteThank you
Pauline
You managed to get a lot of pictures! I know what you mean about the show and talent being overwhelming. I agree. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing display of talent! The pictures are amazing, but I bet it was just so fabulous to stand in front of those quilts and see them up close.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful and amazing quilts! I can't even begin to pick a favorite! I noticed several pictorial quilts....where they pieced or photos?
ReplyDeleteOh My!! What a FABULOUS quilty parade!!! I will have to come back over and *stare* at these some more!!

These quilts are amazing. Thanks so much for posting them!
ReplyDeleteOops... Forgot... I was so overwhelmed by the beauty. My favorite is "blue crystal" or "whereabouts of a flower"... Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Kevin, I just finished looking at all the quilt pictures that you took. They are wonderful. The quilt you made for QOV was very nice. You do a great job. I am a new quilter too but not that good yet and have only finished 5. I have 2 here that I think I need to get a long arm person to finish for me since they are both king size quilts. I should of started on smaller ones first lol But I also have about 4 small ones that need to be finished (just quilted). Now that I think about it, it may be more than that lol. I love doing the piecing but am scared to do the quilting. I did take one class so far and loved doing it but we did just a little one and that was easy lol.. I hope I get as good as you have done some day. Mine all the points still don't match up perfect yet. My e-mail is judylovetoquilt@gmail.com.
